- KBKeva BrambleJan 28, 20261.0I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Howdens King’s Cross. My initial appointment was booked incorrectly. I had to follow up the next day to discover I had been booked for an in-person appointment instead of an online design consultation. After this was corrected, I received no confirmation email or joining link for the rescheduled appointment. 15 minutes before the meeting, I had to call the branch myself to request the link, which was only sent minutes before the appointment. During the call, the designer repeatedly pushed for a face-to-face visit despite me having already provided exact measurements and a detailed floor plan. The appointment was booked for 30 minutes, even though Howdens’ website states design consultations typically take 60 to 90 minutes. Around 12 minutes were spent entering measurements, which could have been reviewed beforehand, as is standard practice with other suppliers such as Magnet Kitchens and Wren Kitchens. The design appointment was left incomplete. When I called to request a different designer, I was told I would receive a call back. 5 hours later, no one contacted me. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Disorganised, inefficient and a complete waste of time. Ultimately, I cancelled the design appointment and chose to contact another Howdens branch instead.

We looked at many high end and bespoke kitchens but think Howdens offers the best combination of quality and price with enough level of bespokeness. Paul is extremely customer focused and he understood what we were after. He took his time to go through everything in detail and none of our questions or requests were too much for him. Thank you Howdens Kings Cross and thank you Paul - we are very happy with our kitchen.
